Come and enjoy Milford like never before. Milford has the most coastline of any Connecticut town. Enjoy 17 miles of coast line from pristine sandy beaches to unspoiled marsh land teeming with life. Or venture out to Charles Island and view the heron, egrets and osprey calling the island home. You will be paddling in Long Island Sound and you can experience calm as glass waters to windy, choppy seas. Everyday is different so keep and open mind and be ready for adventure!
We boast the second longest green in New England with boutique shopping, restaurants, fine arts galleries, theaters, marinas, craft fairs, farmer's markets and much more! Follow the shoreline roads throughout Milford for spectacular views and visit all our beaches along the way! Enjoy all that Milford has to offer by land or sea. From scooters to kayaks we will have you exploring in no time safely and professionally in an environmentally friendly, fun and healthy way.
Free on street parking is available. During the height of summer, the beaches will fill up and free parking becomes scarce, you may have to walk a bit to find a spot but there is usually parking available on side streets nearby. There are also paid parking spots for non-residents at Walnut Beach (free for residents).
